We aim to promote undiscovered young Japanese artists and help bring their hidden talents to the world. By supporting Japanese artists in achieving financial success and expanding their opportunities, we hope to contribute to society through the power of art. While cherishing Japan's unique sense of beauty and sensibility, we strive to showcase its charm globally and provide artists with opportunities to shine on the international stage.

Meaning of TENKYU

"Tenkyu" (天泣) is a term that describes the phenomenon of sudden rain falling from a clear sky. There are various theories about its origin, but this seemingly sad expression is often depicted in poetry and literature as a fortunate and beautiful occurrence.

It refers to the moment when rain falls under a shining sun, eventually giving way to a rainbow. In Japan, this phenomenon is also known as "kitsune no yomeiri" or "the fox's wedding," and is cherished as a unique and special scene.

With this in mind, we named our project "TENKYU" to express our desire to provide emerging artists with the 'rain' of opportunity, helping their talents shine like a 'rainbow' and capture the attention of people around the world.

私たちは、未発掘の若手日本人アーティストをプロモーションすることで、まだ知られていない才能を世に広めるお手伝いをします。日本人アーティストが経済的に成功し、活躍の場を広げられるようにサポートすることで、アートの力を通じて社会に貢献したいと考えています。日本固有の美意識や感性を大切にしながら、その魅力を世界に発信し、国際的な舞台で輝く機会を提供していきます。

TENKYUとは

「天泣（てんきゅう）」とは、晴れた空に突然雨が降る現象を表す言葉です。諸説ありますが、一見悲しい印象を受けるこの言葉は、詩や文学では縁起の良い現象として描かれることも多いそうです。

その意味は、太陽が輝く青空の中で雨が降り、やがて虹が現れるという、美しい瞬間を指しています。日本ではこの現象を「狐の嫁入り」とも呼び、特別な情景として親しまれています。

私たちは、まだ注目されていないアーティストたちに「雨」というチャンスを降らせて、その才能が「虹」のように輝き、世界中の人の目に留まるようなサポートしたい、そんな想いから「TENKYU」という名前をつけました。
